Nicole Ari Parker (born October 7, 1970 in Baltimore, Maryland) is a bi-racial American actress, of African-American and Cherokee Indian descent, . The brief model, Parker is best known for swimming a hard however caring Terry Joseph in the series version of Soul Food. She helped help in the confusion between Vanessa L. Williams (who played Terry in the Soul Food movie) and Vanessa A. Williams who played Maxine in the series, due to her similar features to Vanessa L. Williams (including mocha skin & lightly hazel eyes). Early inside her career Nicole appeared inside many critically-acclaimed independent films including A Incredibly True Adventures of Both Girls gaga, Boogie Nights, 200 Coffin nail, & a 1999 Sundance Film Festival winner The Escapade of Sebastian Cole. She starred around UPN's sitcom 2nd Period In using hubby, model/actor Boris Kodjoe, which was canceled in 2005. Parker is the girl Donald, the tooth doctor, & Susan, an enterpriser. She occurs as graduate of New York University's prestigious Film School where she majored within acting. She gave birth to her number 1 toddler, Sophie Tei-Naaki Lee Kodjoe, March Five, 2005.
